1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how C&L GROUP LTD collects, uses, stores and protects personal information in connection with the SIPSALGO website and the SIPS platform (together, “SIPS”).
2. Controller Identity and Contact
C&L GROUP LTD, company number 11712068, registered office Tenby Place, 102 Selby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, England, NG2 7BA, is the controller (or controller-equivalent, where applicable) of personal information processed in connection with SIPS. Contact us at hello@sipsalgo.com.
3. Information You Provide
Information you give us directly, such as when you sign up, contact us, or use SIPS.
4. Account and Profile Information
Full name, email address, and (where you provide it) telephone number, plus account identifiers and SIPS workspace information associated with your account.
5. Subscription and Billing Information
Your selected plan and billing period, and your subscription status. Full payment-card details are handled by our payment provider directly — see Section 11.
6. Strategy and Portfolio Information
Strategy and trade files you upload or connect (for example from StrategyQuant X), and the portfolios you build, compare or analyse within SIPS.
7. MT5 Account and Live-Monitoring Information
Where you choose to connect an MT5 account, SIPS receives read-only account identity and trade/performance information through the SIPS Bridge/Connector, for the purpose of the live-monitoring features you have chosen to use. See the Software & Trading Risk Disclosure for how this connection works.
8. Website Technical and Security Information
Standard technical information generated by using a website and cloud-hosted software, such as log/security information, used to keep SIPS secure and functioning correctly. See Section 15 for cookies.
9. How We Use Information
- to provide, operate and maintain SIPS, including your account, workspace and subscription
- to process subscription payments (via our payment provider)
- to provide customer support and respond to enquiries sent to hello@sipsalgo.com
- to maintain the security and integrity of SIPS
- to meet legal and regulatory obligations
- where you have opted in, to send product updates (see Section 17)
10. Lawful Bases
Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on the following lawful bases as relevant to each use above: performance of a contract with you (providing SIPS and your subscription), legitimate interests (keeping SIPS secure and improving the service), legal obligation (e.g. tax/accounting records), and consent (e.g. optional marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time).
11. Service Providers and Processors
We use the following categories of service provider, limited to those genuinely part of SIPS’s implemented or launch architecture:
- Supabase — database and backend infrastructure that stores SIPS account, workspace and platform data.
- Vercel — hosts the SIPSALGO website and application.
- AWS — supporting cloud infrastructure for parts of the SIPS platform.
- Stripe — our payment provider for subscription billing. Stripe processes your subscription-payment information directly; C&L GROUP LTD does not need to store your full payment-card details.
Please note
We only name a processor here once it is genuinely part of SIPS’s implemented or launch architecture. This list will be updated if that changes.
12. International Transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside your own country. Where this happens, we require appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.
13. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy — including providing your account and subscription, meeting legal/accounting/tax obligations, resolving disputes, and maintaining security — and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
14. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information involved, including encrypted transport, access controls, and database-level protections. See Data & Security Information for a customer-facing summary of our security approach.
15. Cookies
SIPS uses a limited set of cookies, described in full in the Cookie Policy.
16. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise a right, contact hello@sipsalgo.com.
17. Marketing Communications
We only send product-update or marketing communications where you have opted in (for example via a newsletter sign-up). You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time.
18. Children / Minimum Age
SIPS is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to SIPS or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
20. Contact and Complaints
Contact us at hello@sipsalgo.com with any privacy question or complaint. If UK data protection law applies to you and you remain unsatisfied, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
