Data & Imports Overview

Your workspace's one home for importing strategies and reviewing the active dataset.

One home for dataset management

Data & Imports is the single place in your workspace for importing strategies and checking your active dataset. A Portfolio Settings button in the page header takes you to the rules SIPS uses to qualify strategies and build portfolios.

Import methods

Two import methods are shown side by side:

  • StrategyQuant X — a direct SQX connection is planned. It is marked Coming Soon and can’t be selected; SIPS never claims to connect or sync with SQX.
  • Import CSV Files — the working import method. It opens the import window: select your Databank CSV and trade files, click Validate Dataset, and SIPS uploads, validates and imports them in one flow. See Importing SQX Strategies.

Current Dataset

A compact summary of your workspace’s real active dataset: strategy count, trade count, last-imported date and status, with a View Strategies link into your library. Before your first completed import you’ll see a “No completed dataset yet” notice instead — the import options stay available either way.

What happens after an import

A successful import becomes your active dataset straight away, and SIPS automatically runs strategy qualification for it, so the Qualified / Failed counts on Strategies are ready without an extra step. If you change your Strategy rules later, SIPS re-qualifies the next time you run Portfolio Builder — you don’t need to import again.

Software and risk notice. SIPSALGO provides software tools for strategy and portfolio analysis. Trading and investment decisions involve risk, and analytical tools cannot guarantee future performance. Nothing on this page is financial advice or a recommendation to trade.
