Strategy Behaviour

What a strategy's own trading logic does, extracted from its rules, and when it is available.

Strategy Behaviour explains what a strategy’s own trading logic does, in trader language — extracted directly from the strategy’s SQX rules, without AI or guesswork. It is not a score, and it doesn’t affect qualification, ranking or portfolio construction.

What it shows

When a behaviour profile exists for a strategy, it appears on that strategy’s Strategy Performance page as five plain-text cards.

Availability

Behaviour profiles are not created by the CSV import. For strategies you import from CSV files you’ll usually see “Behaviour Intelligence has not been extracted for this strategy snapshot yet” — that is expected, not an error.

The five cards

  • Trading Style — the strategy’s overall approach.
  • Entry Behaviour — how it decides to enter.
  • Entry Components — the conditions and indicators its entries use.
  • Exit Behaviour — how positions are closed.
  • Risk & Trade Management — stops, targets and other trade management.

When a strategy doesn’t fit one category

Tip

Not every strategy has single-family behaviour. A strategy that doesn’t clearly fit one Trading Style is classified “Hybrid/Multi-condition” rather than forced into a category it doesn’t belong to. This is common and expected, not a defect.
