Portfolio Log

Every portfolio in your workspace in one place: save, analyse, and connect to MT5.

Portfolio Log (page title “Choose Portfolio to Trade Live”) is your hub for every portfolio in your workspace — the current run’s bank, portfolios you’ve saved, your Custom Portfolios and portfolios used for MT5 connections. It is also where you start connecting a portfolio to MT5.

What it is

One list in rank order, with search, filters (market, diversification) and sorting, and a Bank Reuse Mix column showing how many of each portfolio’s strategies have Low, Moderate or High Bank Reuse. Generated portfolios are labelled with their run, for example PF-R001-001; Custom Portfolios are labelled like PF-C001.

Row actions:

  • Save / Unsave (disk icon) — keep a generated portfolio when you next run Portfolio Builder. Current-run portfolios you haven’t saved are replaced by the next successful run.
  • + — connect this portfolio to MT5.
  • Eye — open Portfolio Analysis.

Downloading a SIPS Bridge for a portfolio protects that portfolio automatically, so it is kept even if you never saved it; unsaving never removes that protection.

Filters

  • All — every portfolio.
  • Current (default) — the retained bank from your latest Portfolio Builder run.
  • Saved — portfolios you saved.
  • Custom — portfolios you built in Custom Builder.
  • EA Generated — portfolios used to create a SIPS Bridge.

Starting a live connection

Choose a portfolio and click + to open the MT5 connection form for it. The list is a plain ranked list — it isn’t a personalised recommendation of which portfolio to trade. See Connecting an MT5 Account for the full setup.

Software and risk notice. SIPSALGO provides software tools for strategy and portfolio analysis. Trading and investment decisions involve risk, and analytical tools cannot guarantee future performance. Nothing on this page is financial advice or a recommendation to trade.
