Portfolio Analysis

The full drill-down for one portfolio: KPIs, equity, membership, diversification.

Portfolio Analysis is the full drill-down for one portfolio — a generated portfolio or one of your Custom Portfolios. Open it from the eye icon in Portfolio Comparison or Portfolio Log.

What you see

  • A 16-card KPI dashboard, using the same metrics as Strategy Performance.
  • The portfolio equity curve with each strategy’s contribution, plus monthly and yearly performance.
  • Strategies in this Portfolio — each member strategy with its Bank Reuse and an Add to Custom Builder action.
  • A Quality Profile radar comparing the portfolio with the rest of your retained bank, a FULL / IS / OOS sample comparison and a performance summary.
  • Diversification — asset, market, timeframe, direction and strategy-behaviour mix.
  • Key Highlights and Needs Attention summaries.
  • Header actions: back to Comparison, Connect MT5 Account (with this portfolio pre-selected) and, if your plan includes it, View Monte Carlo.

Combined portfolio metrics

Every headline figure is a genuine combined-portfolio metric, calculated from the portfolio’s own combined trade stream on a $100,000 capital basis — never by averaging or adding up its member strategies’ individual metrics.

Fixed vs Compounded

The selector in the equity-curve header switches the whole page between Fixed and Compounded. Compounded replays the portfolio’s realised closed-trade results with compounding and recalculates the KPIs, equity curve, monthly and yearly figures, contribution and sample comparison; correlation, diversification and trade counts don’t change. Compounded values are for exploration only — they are never used for ranking or for sizing live trades.

Please note

SIPS’s portfolio Stability can differ from the figure StrategyQuant X reports for the same portfolio. Portfolio-level Stability parity with SQX is not yet verified.
